Chris Tillman ended his AAA season on high-note tonight, tossing 6.2 scoreless innings for Norfolk.
Tillman allowed 5 hits, 2 walks, and had 3 k’s.
Tillman’s final 2010 AAA numbers are:
11-7, 3.34 era, 121.1 innings, 120 hits, 10 homers, 30 walks, with 94 k’s.
Heading into tonight, he was holding hitters to a .261 batting average against, and had a Ground ball to Fly ball ratio of 0.84.
Would be nice to see him have some success over 2-4 starts with the Birds in September.
