Making his 3rd Major League start, and first at Fenway – Uehara answered the call today in Boston.
For the game, Uehara went 7 innings, allowing 5 hits, 2 er, 1 bb, with 5 k’s.
His velocity was up a tick from the previous outing in Texas, but more importantly he had his control, and was able to work the four-quadrants.
The O’s might not come-back in the 9th, but his strong outing was a welcome-sight.
