As this can not be related to Kim’s Fall 2008 grades, it appears this is an NCAA issue with his transcripts.

To gain eligibility, the NCAA Clearinghouse had to clear him – so it not known what the current issue could be.

While he is allowed to continue to practice with the team, and the University is appealing his status – he is not allowed to play.

If he was not able to regain his eligibility, losing him would be a tremendous blow to the program.

In recruiting circles, he was not found on 2008 lists as he was originally part of the 2009 class.

There was conjecture from some, that had he remained part of the 2009 class, he would have wound-up ranked as a Top 40-50 National talent.
