Baltimore Ravens Football
No Roethlisberger, and No Polamalu equals disappointment
As a Ravens fan, I would rather lose to the Steelers with Ben playing, vs. beat them without him and advance to the playoffs. The Ravens could have beat NE, Minnesota, and Indy; but the fact remains they did not. They are 1-5 against current division leaders. A win...
Fabian Washington’s injury is not insignificant
With the news this afternoon that Fabian Washington will miss the remainder of 2009 with a torn ACL, there was a corresponding knee-jerk reaction that the injury was of little significance to the Ravens. That could not be further from the truth. While I do believe...
Ravens lose to the Colts; The Good, The Bad, The Ugly
The Baltimore Ravens again failed to make the plays necessary to win in the clutch, and lost to the Indianapolis Colts 17-15 at-home. With the loss, the Ravens fall to 5-5 overall, and will seemingly be faced with going 5-1 down the stretch to have a realistic...
Ravens vs. Indianapolis Match-ups to Watch
When CBS Television kicks off their coverage of the Ravens vs. Colts game tomorrow; there will be a couple of obvious story-lines they use to lead off their coverage. As always, they will mention the horseshoe, and of course they will talk about Peyton and Ray as...

Hauschka, Cundiff, and Kickoffs
The Ravens had to relase Hauschka this week, because 75,000 fans (and Hauschka himself) would have been nervous about his next kick under pressure. I am not sure Cundiff will be of any real improvement though. One area where I hope to see a tangible difference is with...
Ravens win on MNF; The Good, The Bad, The Ugly
Despite an auspicious first-half of play in Cleveland, the Ravens made the plays necessary in the 2nd-half to advance their record to 5-4. The Good:1) The Browns were playing inspired ball on National TV, and their crowd was into the game. Tied at half-time, the...
