An O’s starter is not impressed with Palmer?
MASN's Rob Dibble was a guest yesterday of Rob Long on Fox 1370 here in Baltimore. Dibble made the comment that an Oriole starter told Palmer he had reviewed Palmer's numbers, and was not impressed. http://www.roblongshow.com/blogs/Phil%20Backert/967I did not hear the...
Is SS Stephen Drew obtainable for the O’s?
Nick Piecoro of The Arizona Republic wrote an article last Saturday quoting Arizona Diamondbacks General Manager Joshy Byrnes as stating a fire sale was not going to happen....
Showalter and Davey Johnson
I had been leaning towards wanting the O's to hire Buck Showalter, but Davey Johnson has certainly made things interesting with his comments to The Baltimore Sun today.http://www.baltimoresun.com/sports/orioles/bal-osnotes0626,0,5313097.storyJohnson stated, "I have...
Reimold & Bell in their last 10 games

Probably my biggest annoyance of the 2010 season for the Baltimore Orioles, was that I anticipated ending the year with less long-term questions about the roster. Here in mid-June, the questions have seemingly only increased. However, Jake Arrieta and David Hernandez...
Bell starting to stir at AAA?
Josh Bell had a homer, and 2 hits last night for AAA Norfolk. This gives him 11 hits in his last 37 at-bats (.297 average, 5 extra-base hits, .859 OPS in that span). Perhaps most importantly is during these last 10 games he has 5 walks to his 6 k's. Considering for...

Last night was Tillman's 4th 2010 start for the Birds, and the second time he did not get out of the 2nd inning. 5/29: 5.2 innings, 6 hits, 2 er, 2 bb's, 3 k's6/4: 1.1 innings, 5 hits, 4 er, 2 bb's, 2 k's6/9: 6 innings, 8 hits, 2 er, 3 bb's, 1 k6/14: 2 innings, 6...
