Compare O’s To Astros Rebuild One Month In
A month into the season, the Baltimore Orioles are already pretty much where everybody expected them to be -- last place. And that’s actually fine. Wins and losses don’t matter this season. The razing of the franchise from top to bottom was necessary, and management...
Power Ranking Baltimore’s 25-Man Roster
Great ideas are meant to be stolen -- with proper credit, of course. A former colleague of mine named Paul Swydan used to power rank the 25-man roster for the Boston Red Sox for a newspaper he worked for, and I've always thought that was a fun exercise, so here I'm...
Orioles: Nothing To Lose; Opportunity To Experiment
I'm not here to pile on the Orioles, we all understand what this season is. The O's have started a rebuilding process, and charitably they have a limited roster. If they finish this year with any less than 95 losses, it would be highly surprising, and in the scheme of...

Orioles: General Thoughts
The Orioles are 4-5 overall, and have lost 4 in a row as the Oakland Athletics arrive in Baltimore to begin a 4 game series. Coming off a 115 loss season, the bar is pretty low. There are no expectations for this group. You can look around the diamond, and...
