Baltimore Orioles Baseball
Olson and Liz – Their best starts of 2008
Not enough talk about these two in my opinion. They had rough 2008 seasons… oh-well, that happens… they also showed some flashes, and gained experience… I think people have gone too far to the other-side, writing them off, as if there is no upside there. I look for...
Hello Japan!
On Tuesday, the Orioles signed Koji Uehara. This is a relatively notable signing, because it is the first foray into Asia for the Baltimore Orioles. The O’s obvious lack of presence in Asia has been noticeable for years.Credit President of Baseball Operations Andy...
Wieters Year 1 – What do you expect?
At a minimum Wieters should be our starting catcher by Mid-April, after spending the same 15 days in the minors that Longoria did to start 2008. It is possible that the O's could decide that is no longer a concern for them, and that Wieters is our Opening Day catcher…...

Turned 24 on October 13th... his domination of AA, and AAA at ages 20, and 21 are just as impressive as anyone in the organization... Out of options, does he make the team... ?http://www.thebaseballcube.com/playe...den-penn.shtml2005 AA Age 20 7-6 3.83 ERA 110.1 IP...
Albers as the 5th Starter
He was able to get a few minor league innings in, to end 2008… should be ready to go for 2009… Trembley has said he wants him to start, to avoid the wear and tear of a relief pitcher. I would like to see him start for at least the first-half… he was a former Baseball...
